LOC CARE 101
WASH
You may wash your locs as your would wash your natural hair. With shampoo, gently clean your scalp to get rid of any oil and build up. Please avoid excessive scrubbing and tugging on the locs to prevent unraveling.
After washing, towel pat your scalp thoroughly to rid any excess water. Rather than dragging the towel down your locs, place the towel around a section of your locs and squeeze. Repeat this method from the root to the tips of your locs. We recommend sitting under an over head dryer until your scalp and locs are dry.
HUMAN CURL LONGEVITY
Boho Curls tend to tangle due to friction cause by everyday motion. The cheat code to long the lasting curl pattern is to add a little Got2Be Gel (black bottle) on each curl, one by one.. To keep your curls and locs hydrated, mist with water. When detangling, ensure to to do each curl one by one.
MOISTURE
We recommend adding moisture to your scalp once a 1-2 times a week. The best way to moistuize is to mist your scalp with water.
Do not use heavy products or oils on locs. This causes greasy stiff locs and product build-up. When applying edge control, be sure to wash your edges when visible build-up is occuring.
NIGHT AND ACTIVE MAINTANENCE
Every night and during physical activity, ensure to tie your hair down with a scarf. This prevents excessive friction and allows your roots to to remain fresh longer. A bonnet is necessary, but if you choose to, please ensure you have a scarf on.
INSTALL LIFE SPAN
We do not recommend keeping the locs in for more than 3 months. As these locs are reusable, please remove the locs and reinstall to avoid your hair from locking.
